If you have joined as an influencer and are not seeing any offers in the Marketplace, here are some of the common reasons, along with remedies that can help put you in a better position to be eligible for offers and receive pitches:
#1 You haven't added all of your social profiles/blogs/etc
Campaigns are targeted towards specific social networks and if you don't add a social network you belong to, you won't see offers for that network.
Remedy: Click your name in the top left corner of the web app then click My Account then click the Social Account link under the Influencer section and add all of the social networks, blogs, etc included on this list that you belong to.
On the mobile app, tap the More option in the bottom left corner, then tap Settings and tap Edit Social Accounts.
It doesn't matter if you don't have a particularly large following on all of your profiles, every one you add should a) increase your audience reach and b) make you eligible to participate in campaigns tailored to those specific networks if you meet the audience reach criteria.
Note: After you add your social profile/blog/etc, it will take at least one day for your audience reach total to update (in some instances this takes longer, based on the specific network).
#2 Your compensation levels are too high
While we all love that big payday, sometimes influencers price themselves out of consideration by brands. We let you set your minimum compensation (in product value and cash amount), and we encourage you to be realistic about what you're charging when taking your audience reach and expected engagement rates into consideration. You've done the hard work in building up your profiles, blogs, etc., so don't sell yourself short, but at the same time, it's best to be reasonable.
If you've set a high minimum compensation amount, consider lowering it to see what's available. Remember, you ultimately decide whether or not you are going to work with a brand. There's no obligation until you have accepted the pitch.
On the mobile app, tap the More option in the bottom left corner, then tap Settings and tap Payment Preferences.
Select Both for Accepted Pay Type(s). Consider entering a lower value if you want to encourage more offers then click or tap Save. Keep in mind you can always adjust these higher or lower!
#3 You haven't added all of your specialties
Similar to the previous issue, neglecting to add all of your specialties (you are allowed to add up to 10) will keep you from seeing offers that pertain to those specialties.
Remedy: For best results, click your name in the top left corner of the web app then click Influencer Information, listed under the Influencer section, add 10 specialties then click Save.
On the mobile app, tap the More option in the bottom left corner, then tap Edit Identity and select your specialties. Then tap Save.
#4 Your Profile Strength score is lacking
You can view your Profile Strength at any time from within your Dashboard. If your score is less than 100%, completing the outstanding tasks is crucial so you can boost your profile strength. At least two of the steps require interaction with a brand, which isn't dependent on you, but completing the rest will increase your chances of being able to knock out those remaining steps quickly.
Remedy: View your Profile Strength score then click Complete Your Profile to address any outstanding tasks.
Remember, brands are more likely to pitch influencers with good looking profiles, so make sure you have done everything that is shown on the checklist.
You always have the option of viewing offers you don't qualify for by clicking Advanced Filters within the Marketplace then checking the Show offers that I don't qualify for box. While you will not be able to apply to these offers, you can review the requirements of the offers shown to get a better idea of what steps you need to take to qualify.
Note: Per our Terms of Service, you must not use false or misleading information (including, but not limited to locality and someone else’s information and/or likeness) within your profile details.
