In order to have the best success using Intellifluence, we recommend the following strategies as it pertains to optimizing a campaign:
1. Choose the right campaign goal
Make sure you choose the correct campaign goal when creating a campaign.
If you have existing content (such as a post, video) that you want the influencers to amplify or engage with, select one of the following:
Social Share
Social Engagement
If you want the influencer to create content from scratch, select one of the following:
Social Review
Blog Review (or blog post)
Video Review
Marketplace Review
If your campaign goal doesn't fit neatly into one of these options, select Custom Campaign.
2. Create an enticing Campaign Name
Make sure your campaign name stands out and will be appealing to influencers, as this is one of the first things they will see in the Marketplace while browsing offers.
Hint: The This is what the influencers will see... card will show your offer card in real time as you build your campaign.
3. Make the Required Work clear
Perhaps the most common issues with unsuccessful campaigns comes down to the Required Work being unclear. Take some time to make it clear to the influencer what you are looking for.
Utilize the Posting Do's and Posting Don'ts to fine-tune any requirements.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you set realistic due dates when pitching influencers. If an influencer is required to order a physical product, it will obviously take some time to ship it to them.
Tip: Don't include unnecessary information (i.e. complete history of brand, etc.) unless it's needed in the post or reference. This will lessen the chance the influencer misses key required details.
4. Consider compensation
If you have a campaign live in the Marketplace and aren't receiving many applications, or you are pitching influencers and not hearing back from them, these may be signs that you are not offering enough compensation.
Consider making your offer as lucrative as possible by offering reasonable compensation in the form of product, cash or a combination of both.
While there's always the opportunity to modify your compensation, you can save time by offering solid compensation from the start. If you're not getting a lot of accepted pitches or Marketplace applications, consider offering a higher amount of compensation.
5. Consider filters
If you've maxed out your budget and don't want to increase compensation anymore, review the audience size filters you have set under the Add Filters tab and consider lowering the minimum audience size.
If you belong to the Regular or Advanced plan tiers, you have the ability to leave the Specialties field blank and target all specialties. This works best if your campaign is generic enough that it will attract a wide variety of influencers.
